Philip Zuk has been appointed as the new Senior Vice President and General Manager of OmniOn Power (OmniOn) AI and Data Center business.

With over 25 years of experience in the worldwide power electronics and semiconductor industries, Zuk brings to OmniOn’s objective of powering innovation a wealth of technical know-how, market expertise, and a track record of strategic positioning and brand leadership.
In this position, Zuk will oversee the company’s recently formed AI and Data Center business unit, which is tasked with anticipating the industry’s future power needs while tackling the most difficult power issues that today’s AI-driven data centers face.
The business is well-positioned to serve the quick growth of AI computing and next-generation data-center infrastructure by fusing Zuk’s commercial and market expertise with OmniOn’s legacy of high-capacity, dependable power conversion solutions.
Prior to joining OmniOn, Zuk’s diverse professional experience included:
- Guiding a company through IPO, acquisition, and board-level engagement in both senior- and executive-level roles at Transphorm (prior to its acquisition by Renesas).
- Providing expertise in power semiconductors (Si, SiC, GaN) while leading product marketing, technical marketing, and business development at Microsemi (now Microchip), Vishay Siliconix, and Transphorm.
- Driving end-to-end commercialization efforts to support industry solutions, from device definition through global deployment and adoption.
- Founding PCZ Consulting Group, advising power electronics and semiconductor companies on go-to-market strategy, positioning, and growth—particularly for technologies enabling next-generation AI infrastructure and data-center power architectures.
