EPC’s Next-Gen GaN Power Solutions For AI, Robotics, and Space at electronica 2026

THE VOLT VOTES

As artificial intelligence pushes data center power requirements to their limits, Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) is bringing its latest gallium nitride (GaN) solutions to electronica 2026 to tackle the escalating demand. Operating out of Hall C6, Booth 221 in Munich from November 10-13, EPC will demonstrate how GaN technology is shrinking and accelerating power systems across AI, robotics, and space applications. At electronica 2026, EPC GaN EPC91123, EPC space The Volt Post

The showcase heavily prioritizes the rapidly evolving AI power infrastructure. EPC will unpack hardware covering the entire power-delivery chain, moving from 800 VDC distribution down to point-of-load conversion.

Key rollouts include the EPC91123 6 kW 800 V-to-12.5 V ISOP LLC converter and a new 6 kW 800 V-to-6 V unit engineered to push high-voltage power much closer to next-generation AI processors.

The company is also debuting its Gen8 GaN power-stage technology, which targets ultra-high-frequency direct conversion, stepping down from 6.25 V to sub-1 V processor rails.

Beyond the data center, Efficient Power Conversion is leaning into physical AI and autonomous machines. The booth will feature integrated GaN solutions built for humanoid robots and drones, anchored by the EPC33110 100 V three-phase integrated ePower Stage IC for high-performance motor drives.

The company will also preview the upcoming EPC33111, aimed at further miniaturizing space-constrained designs.

On the orbital front, EPC Space is set to display radiation-hardened and radiation-tolerant GaN components including the EPC7011, EPC7009, and several PCSH variants designed for robust space computing and DC-DC converters.

To anchor the hardware demonstrations, EPC executives and engineers will host a series of live technical sessions directly at Booth 221 throughout electronica:

  • Nov. 10, 2:00–2:30 p.m.: “Where is GaN Going?” – Alex Lidow, CEO, EPC
  • Nov. 11, 11:00–11:30 a.m.: “Radiation-Hardened GaN: From Niche to Mainstream” – Bel Lazar, CEO, EPC Space
  • Nov. 11, 2:00–2:30 p.m.: “New 100 V Half-Bridge and Three-Phase GaN ICs for Robots and Drones” – Marco Palma, VP of Motor Drive Marketing and System Engineering, EPC
  • Nov. 12, 11:00–11:30 a.m.: “Disrupting High-Voltage Applications Using Low-Voltage GaN FETs in Multi-kW Isolated Converters” – Michael De Rooij, GaN Applications Fellow, EPC
