ADIOS Puts 700,000 Verified Components Within Reach at Up to 30% Off

THE VOLT VOTES

ADIOS is now listing close to 700,000 parts from more than 30 global brands, with prices advertised at up to 30% lower than conventional distribution channels. The catalogue includes analog ICs, MCUs and FPGAs, with new devices being added on a daily basis.

This expansion comes against a challenging backdrop for smaller buyers. In recent years, several major US IC manufacturers have streamlined their supply chains by concentrating distribution through a handful of large global distributors.

That shift has made it increasingly difficult for small and mid-sized companies in the UK and Europe to secure the electronic components they need on competitive terms. At the same time, the dominance of large global CEMs has helped entrench a two-tier pricing structure, with substantial volumes of lower-cost inventory concentrated in those high-volume channels.

As shortages, obsolescence and allocation pressures persist, many buyers have been pushed toward less transparent trading routes. The traditional broker market has grown more complex to navigate, and the risk of counterfeit or non-conforming components entering the supply chain has risen accordingly, especially when companies are forced to plug urgent gaps at short notice.

ADIOS is positioning itself as an alternative model. The “intelligent, responsible outsourcing” company says it has invested significant effort in vetting established suppliers with rigorous processes to ensure all parts supplied are genuine.

Unlike many brokers, ADIOS also holds substantial inventory in the UK and has installed state-of-the-art component verification equipment from ABI Electronics Ltd.

The company is certified to AS9120, underlining its focus on traceability and quality in what has become a more demanding and risk-prone component supply landscape.

Leadership Comment

ADIOS Offers Verified Electronic Components at 30% lower buy The Volt Post ADIOS’ CEO, Steve Rawlins asserts: “This is not traditional brokering. We only supply current parts and we do not deal in obsolete devices. We hold inventory and sell from a parts list built from reputable, rigorously audited suppliers; we are not back-to-back trading. These are genuine devices, intelligently and responsibly sourced that we can offer at extremely competitive prices.”

Summarises Rawlins: “Everything we do starts with the customer. Large corporation priorities can move with the markets, but our focus, as a key part of the supply chain, is constant, finding smarter ways to deliver what customers need, exactly when they need it.”
