Panasonic Industry is set to take part once again in the Anwenderforum Relaistechnik, held as part of the Power of Electronics 2026 conference at the Vogel Convention Center (VCC) in Würzburg.

The event Anwenderforum Relaistechnik – Power of Electronics 2026 has become a key meeting point for developers, manufacturers, researchers and industry experts from across the DACH region, focused on knowledge exchange and innovation in relay technology and power electronics.
Alongside its exhibition presence, Panasonic Industry will share technical expertise and application know-how through specialist presentations, while product management experts will be on hand throughout the show to discuss the latest developments in relay and switching solutions.
From relay basics to real-world applications
One of the company’s conference contributions will be led by Christoph Oehler, Head of Technical Collaboration Services in the Department of Innovation & Collaboration.
Together with relay specialist and long-time industry colleague Jürgen Steinhäuser, he will walk attendees through the fundamentals of elementary relays and how they work in practice.
The session will cover core electromechanical concepts, key design considerations and application-oriented aspects of relay technology.
Hybrid switching for an electrified future
A second technical highlight will come from Dr. Dieter Volm, Head of New Business Development at Panasonic Industry Europe.
Known for blending deep technical knowledge with a strong focus on applications, Dr. Volm will look at emerging switching technologies that underpin the ongoing electrification of industry, mobility and energy systems.
His talk will trace the evolution of MOSFET-based switching and explore hybrid switching concepts that combine the strengths of different technologies.
“Switch Your Smart” on the show floor
Under its current “Switch Your Smart” campaign, Panasonic Industry will use the exhibition to showcase advanced Power Relay, Safety Relay and MOSFET solutions aimed at next-generation smart applications.
The portfolio on display addresses needs across industrial automation, energy management systems, EV charging infrastructure and intelligent power distribution.
Visitors will be able to discuss application-specific challenges directly with Panasonic Industry specialists and see how modern switching technologies can improve efficiency, safety and reliability in increasingly connected systems.
Expanded lab capabilities in Ottobrunn
Beyond its product range, Panasonic Industry will also present the latest expansion of its laboratory facilities in Ottobrunn, Germany. The upgraded lab now offers comprehensive material and electronics analysis, from failure and reliability investigations to detailed material characterization and performance testing. The infrastructure is designed to support both customers and external partners who need deeper technical insights into their applications and components.
