DigiKey is supporting the next generation of electronics innovators as the presenting sponsor of the electronica India Tech Challenge 2026, a national innovation hackathon that challenges engineers, developers, students and makers to turn ideas into practical solutions for real-world electronics applications.

Organised by Messe München, the Tech Challenge brings together talent from across hardware and software development. Participants are working on projects spanning embedded systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics and automation, semiconductor applications, smart manufacturing, industrial electronics, edge computing, sustainability and healthcare electronics.
The shortlisted teams have received mentorship to help them develop and fine-tune working prototypes ahead of the final showcase at electronica India. Their designs will be evaluated based on the functionality of their working prototypes, with the finalists set to demonstrate their solutions at the trade fair on September 17, 2026.
The winning team will take home more than ?5 lakh in prize money, along with national recognition for its innovation.
