TME Showcases Global Reach and Personal Touch at Electronica 2026

THE VOLT VOTES

TME at Electronica 2026 to spotlight its growth into a truly global player, driven by one of the industry’s most advanced, automated warehouses alongside a rapidly expanding lineup of products, suppliers, and customers and strong product content

TME at Electronica 2026 Focuses on automated warehouses The Volt Post

Founded in Poland back in 1989, Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) has steadily grown its international footprint. Today, the company operates offices across nine European countries, as well as in India and China. Building on that global reach, TME also refocused its US subsidiary in Atlanta this year, reinforcing its core philosophy: pairing worldwide scale with hands-on, local customer service.

What sets TME apart is how it balances modern tech with human connection. While the company offers seamless digital integration tools like API, EDI, and PunchOut, clients calling in will always talk to real people rather than navigating frustrating chatbots or automated menus.

That personal touch extends to the field, where local sales teams and field reps work directly with customers, backed by strong product data that simplifies both design and purchasing.

Leadership Comment

Industry veteran, Mark Burr-Lonnon who joined TME in 2026 to head US operations and provide global strategic guidance explains: “Although TME is well established in Eastern and Central  European countries, we are expanding quickly and many people may not be familiar with the scale of the operation. The levels of automation at our 19 500 m2 and 21 000 m2 warehouses are at least as good if not better than any other distributor in the world. We dispatch 6000 components per minute and a customer package leaves the warehouse every 16 seconds. We have direct partnership relationships with 1300 manufacturers, and our line card runs to over 1.5 million parts, most of which are available from stock on 2-3 day delivery terms. In 2027 we will also open a new USA/Americas logistics centre open in Marietta, Atlanta.”

But it also has an aspirational – if humorous – element: we express our ambition by saying that we want to ‘deliver to the moon’. Well, we haven’t opened a subsidiary in space yet, but wherever there are customers, expect to find TME. Certainly come and meet us at Electronica at B5.361. We’d love to talk with you and we’re giving away backpacks to help you carry all the literature you amass, as well as your sandwiches and energy drinks which are a necessity at this marathon event.”
