The Polaris platform is built to push the limits of process efficiency while maintaining high production quality and reliability, leveraging Emerson’s market-leading expertise in future-proof ultrasonic welding technology for evolving global manufacturing needs.

Polaris delivers an adaptable, smart solution with secure factory-floor connectivity and real-time control, capable of joining a wide range of materials and components from automotive parts, medical devices, and consumer electronics to food packaging, appliances, bioplastics, and textiles.

Across industries, manufacturers are up against competing pressures, shifting customer demands, tightening regulations, and stronger competition. These forces call for production lines that are not only fast and flexible but also sustainable and reliable. The Polaris platform helps meet that challenge.

At its core, Polaris brings together power supplies and controllers with different levels of functionality and software, plus a range of actuators that can be matched to virtually any application, regardless of size or complexity. You can start with a benchtop setup for development, lab trials, or proof-of-concept work and then scale up to a fully automated production line.

Optional features let you reduce the system footprint, expand data-storage capacity, and boost secure connectivity across enterprise networks.

With better visibility and control, Polaris can integrate into higher-level systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), improving efficiency, reliability, and precision throughout the line.

By tapping into real-time data, operators can fine-tune control parameters and recipes on the fly, continuously improving processes and boosting overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). For facilities in regulated environments, the same performance data streamlines validation and compliance.

Manufacturing engineers can choose individual Polaris components or work with Emerson specialists to assemble a custom welding system tailored to their specific requirements.

Emerson’s team also provides expert technical support across the entire lifecycle of the system, drawing on the company’s long-standing role as a central hub for ultrasonic welding knowledge in global production environments.
