SCHURTER has introduced the new 4763 Type F/J outlet, a flexible option for modern power distribution systems, especially in data centers. By combining Type F and Type J in a single outlet, the design supports different current ratings while helping simplify intelligent PDU development.

A major advantage is its full mechanical compatibility with existing Type J outlets such as the SCHURTER 4797-5. Because the cut-out dimensions are identical, existing designs can be reused without changes to front panels or PCB layouts, reducing development effort and making retrofits easier.
The outlet also offers added design flexibility, with optional light guides for status indication and different configurations to suit various panel thicknesses. It supports PCB mounting, operates reliably from –25 °C to +70 °C, and meets relevant TÜV requirements.
For secure connections in demanding environments, the 4763 is
compatible with established cord retention systems including V-Lock, P-Lock and TwyLock.
With these features, SCHURTER says the 4763 is well suited for data center, industrial, IT and telecommunications applications where flexibility, reliability and easy integration are key.
