Broadcom has announced an expanded strategic partnership with NEC Corporation to accelerate the adoption of modern private cloud infrastructure built on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

The collaboration leverages NEC’s extensive experience implementing VCF within its own IT environment to help enterprises modernize their cloud operations, improve security, and enhance innovation.
VMware Cloud Foundation is an integrated platform designed to create modern private cloud environments. It combines the agility and scalability of public clouds with the control, performance, and cost efficiency of private infrastructures.
VCF enables organizations to manage both traditional and AI-driven applications consistently across hybrid environments. Today, nine of the top 10 Fortune 500 companies rely on VCF for unified private cloud operations.
Building on more than two decades of collaboration, Broadcom and NEC are deepening their strategic relationship as part of NEC’s “Client Zero” initiative.
Under this approach, NEC adopts cutting-edge technologies within its systems first, enabling the company to gain practical insights and operational expertise that enhance the quality of its customer offerings.
By implementing VCF, NEC aims to further refine its private cloud capabilities, streamline operations, and strengthen its managed services portfolio.
As part of its value creation model, NEC BluStellar Scenario, the company delivers VCF-based cloud solutions and offers the technology as a managed service. Launched in October 2025, the NEC Private Cloud Infrastructure powered by VMware provides flexible hybrid cloud resources and supports agile, scalable IT modernization for enterprise customers.
