Inside L&T Tech’s New Deep-Tech Startup Acceleration Platform

THE VOLT VOTES

L&T Technology Services has launched LTTS FARM, a startup engagement platform built to move deep-tech innovations from validated prototypes to real-world deployments faster. The program leans on LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence capabilities, co-innovation labs, and global customer relationships to help startups cross the “pilot to production” gap.

Who LTTS FARM is for

LTTS FARM is aimed at startups at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and above, teams that have proven technical feasibility and are ready to test in industry settings.

The focus is on ventures aligned with LTTS’ “Technology Big Bets,” including:

  • Software Defined Mobility (SDM)
  • Plant Buildout & Modernization
  • Energy & Industrial Automation
  • Digital Manufacturing
  • Next Gen Compute & Data Centers
  • Software Platforms & Engineering Intelligence (EI)
  • MedTech

How the program works

The platform follows a “Collaboration First, Commercialization Next” approach, guiding startups through a structured path: evaluation, onboarding, co-innovation, pilot development, and commercialization. Selected solutions can move into broader industry deployments via pilots, proofs-of-concept, customer demos, and other commercial engagements.

Startups in the program gain access to LTTS’ domain expertise, engineering talent, innovation labs, and critically its network of global customers and markets. The intent is to give deep-tech teams a practical launchpad to scale from validation to sustained growth.

The move dovetails with LTTS’ wider push into Engineering Intelligence and platform-led offerings, including recent AI initiatives like AgenticIQ and large EI-focused deals. It also complements the L&T Innovation Fund’s shift toward earlier-stage Indian deeptech (TRL 4–5), adding non-capital support partnerships, customer access, and go-to-market help alongside funding.

If you’re building in mobility, industrial automation, digital manufacturing, medtech, or next-gen compute, LTTS FARM is positioned as a channel to test and deploy with large automotive, off-highway, aerospace, rail, and industrial customers.LTTS FARM, L&T Tech Services Deep-Tech Startup Platform The Volt Post

Leadership Comment

Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director, L&T Technology Services and Member of NASSCOM Executive Council, said, “Many promising technologies struggle because of limited access to customers, industry expertise and commercialization opportunities. Through LTTS FARM, we are creating a platform where startups can collaborate with our experts, gain exposure to global markets and customer requirements, validate real-world applications and accelerate their journey from solution readiness to market adoption. By nurturing innovations that align with and further our technology big bets, LTTS FARM will also expand our Engineering Intelligence ecosystem and help transform breakthrough ideas into industry-ready solutions that deliver measurable business impact”.
