TME (Transfer Multisort Elektronik) has just added Raytac’s versatile Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) modules to its lineup. These ready-to-deploy modules combine the radio, MCU, and essential peripherals into a single package, taking the heavy lifting out of hardware development for IoT, medical devices, and industrial automation.

Built around Nordic Semiconductor SoCs featuring Arm Cortex-M4F or Cortex-M33 cores, these modules pack enough onboard memory, 192kB to 1.5MB of flash and up to 256kB of RAM to handle your main application right alongside the communication stack.
Here is a look at the core capabilities:
- Broad Connectivity: Supports BLE 4.0 through 6.2 at speeds up to 2Mb/s, plus Long Range modes at 500kb/s and 125kb/s. Select nRF54-based modules can also hit 4Mb/s using proprietary 2.4GHz transmission. Beyond BLE, the hardware plays well with ANT+, Thread, Zigbee, and IEEE 802.15.4.
- RF Performance: Transmit power ranges from 4 to 8dBm depending on the model, paired with a solid receiver sensitivity of -103dBm.
- Hardware Security: A cryptographic coprocessor handles built-in AES-128 encryption to keep transmitted data locked down.
- Rugged Operating Range: Running on a 1.7V to 5.5V DC supply and rated for temperatures from -40°C to +105°C, they are equally suited for smart home tech and harsh outdoor deployments.
- Rich Interfacing: The modules offer anywhere from 8 to 48 configurable I/O lines and multiple ADC channels. Native support for UART, I2C, I2S, SPI, QSPI, PDM, USB, and NFC means you can wire them directly into sensors, memory, or displays without a middleman.
On the physical side, these compact, surface-mount PCBs are designed to drop cleanly into your main board layout.
To keep scaling simple, modules within the same series share an identical pinout, even if you swap antenna styles. You can choose between a chip antenna, a PCB trace antenna, or a dedicated u.FL connector for an external antenna without having to redesign your board.
Leadership Comment
“Designing an RF path from scratch involves costly and time-consuming testing procedures,” says Marcin Cichomski, Head of Semiconductor Product Group TME. “By making pre-tested and certified Raytac modules readily available in our catalogue, we enable engineers to streamline their design phase, bypass complex radio certification hurdles, and bring robust connected products to market faster.”
Visitors interested in exploring Raytac’s Bluetooth Low Energy module lineup are invited to meet the TME team at electronica in Munich, located at Booth 361, Hall B5.
