Anglia, Linear Systems Partner for European Analog Distribution

THE VOLT VOTES

Anglia Components has announced a pan-European distribution partnership with Linear Systems, a precision analog semiconductor manufacturer based in Silicon Valley. Together, they’ll supply discrete semiconductor products including ultra-low-noise JFETs and high-speed DMOS analog switches.

Linear Systems specializes in high-performance discrete analog components that engineers rely on when developing cutting-edge products where low noise, accuracy, and reliability are non-negotiable.

The company also offers special and custom electrical testing across its product line to support advanced, highly customized circuit requirements.

The heart of the portfolio is the flagship LSK series of ultra-low-noise JFETs. This includes the monolithic dual LSK389 and LSK489, plus the single LSK170.

These devices stand out with industry-exclusive 100% noise testing, giving engineers solid confidence in their most critical low-noise applications. The newest addition, the LSBF862, serves as an improved pin-for-pin replacement for the discontinued NXP BF862.

Beyond JFETs, Linear Systems offers a broad range of high-performance analog solutions. Their nanosecond-class lateral DMOS analog switches deliver ultra-fast, precision switching. Low-noise bipolar transistors come in both monolithic dual and single configurations, opening up fresh possibilities for advanced amplifier designs.

A full range of small-signal N and P channel MOSFETs handles both amplification and switching. For sensitive analog inputs, ultra-low-leakage picoamp diodes available as singles or monolithic duals provide essential protection.

The portfolio is completed with precision current regulating diodes that deliver wider current ranges with tighter performance control.

Linear Systems’ precision discrete analog components are at the core of advanced designs across many fields. These include low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), discrete op-amp architectures, photodiode and TIA stages, high-impedance probes, acoustic and hydrophone preamps, battery-powered instrumentation, ultra-sensitive sensors, medical electronics, audio front ends, and high-performance test and measurement systems.

Anglia Components, Linear Systems for European Distribution The Volt PostLeadership Comments

“Linear Systems precision devices are engineered for exceptional performance in the most demanding industries”, says John Bowman, Anglia’s Marketing Director. “Their products can be used to create low noise amplifier circuits or used alongside integrated op amps to improve the performance of the circuit dramatically.”

Jaime Cook, VP of Operations & Market Development at Linear Systems comments: “The European market is very diverse and precision analog parts are integral to many applications. Anglia is very experienced in servicing this customer base and offers the level of technical design-in support that is required to achieve successful product development.”
