Laurent Amestoy, a seasoned Managing Director of the Asia Pacific area, has been named Chief Sales Officer (CSO) by R&M. He will oversee the international sales operations of the R&M Group.
Laurent Amestoy has worked in the telecommunications sector for more than 30 years. He studied finance, marketing, and thermodynamics. He joined the R&M Group in 2000, having been born in France.
At first, he oversaw the Dubai-based R&M sales division in the Middle East (META). He was appointed Executive Vice President in 2008, overseeing R&M sales in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region from Singapore. R&M’s sales in this area have more than doubled since then. Currently, the R&M Group’s third-largest sales area is APAC.
Roger Baumann has continuously improved R&M’s market and growth strategy since joining the company in April 2025. In order to achieve this, at the end of June, he temporarily hired Laurent Amestoy.
R&M hopes to further use synergies and professionalize its global 
market expansion by adding the CSO position to its Executive Board. By doing this, R&M hopes to address important advances in the global economy as well as current technological trends.
The regional customer closeness approach will continue and be strengthened. It guarantees the presence of experts on site and has subsidiaries and branches in over 40 countries.
