Two New Women Board of Directors Appointed by Anglia Components

Karen Ward and Jill Bowie were promoted to the Board of Directors of Anglia Components. Together, the two recent appointees have nearly 60 years of experience at Anglia, and their dedication and expertise, along with that of their senior staff and fellow directors, have greatly contributed to the company’s growth into one of the biggest independent distributors of electronic components with an impeccable reputation for customer service.Karen Ward, Jill Bowie Board of Directors Anglia Components

Jill Bowie began working for Anglia in 2001 as the manager of the distribution center and rose to the position of operations manager in 2009. She was also in charge of human resources at the time, and because to her abilities, she was able to improve the company’s HR strategy. Jill was named Operations Director of the Executive Leadership Team in June 2011.

In 1990, Karen Ward became a member of Anglia’s internal sales staff. She has now managed several divisions, such as Internal Sales, Customer Relations, and Business Development, and has gained a deep understanding of the company’s culture. Karen was elevated to the position of Office Manager in 2002, which included oversight of all office-based departments that dealt with customers and suppliers.

In this role, supply chain management, vendor-managed inventories, and value-added services have become more and more important to the company. In June 2011, she joined the Executive Leadership Team as the Director of the Sales Office, and in 2023, she was promoted to Commercial Director.
