Evaluation boards, development kits, single board computers (SBCs), tools, and technical documents can all be found in one location with element14’s new online resource, The DevKit HQ.

Finding the ideal development kit is difficult, according to a recent poll of engineering experts. Many engineers rely on kits to tap new technologies before starting projects. According to the poll, engineers frequently combine or modify multiple kits to build prototypes and proof-of-concept designs because they value standard interfaces and extensibility.
The New DevKit HQ Addresses These Needs By Providing:
- Single destination to discover, compare and select solutions from leading semiconductor and hardware suppliers.
- Enables engineers to quickly find the latest development kits and modular solutions by application,
- Along with available demo and application software.
- Engineers can also easily locate evaluation boards that match a supplier’s product family or series.
The website also includes reference designs, training videos, application notes, datasheets, and more for each kit. When combined, these tools enable engineers to make design decisions more quickly and spur innovation in a variety of applications, such as AI, IoT, sensors, wireless, motor control, and power management.
The full survey results are available here.
The survey was conducted on element14 Community and fielded to 441 respondents between 28 July and 8 August.
