Same Sky’s Switches Group has expanded its lineup with three new series of compact, piano DIP switches – the DS06-127-SMT, DS07-254, and DS08-254-SMT. Designed specifically for space-constrained industrial, commercial, telecommunication, and IoT applications, the new additions pack versatile configuration options into ultra-small footprints, with widths starting at 6 mm and profile heights as low as 4.2 mm.
Engineered to fit diverse PCB layouts, the switches come in 2 to 10 position configurations, with options for flush or raised actuators and either surface mount or through-hole mounting styles.
Key design specs and options include:
- Pitch & Terminations: 1.27 mm or 2.54 mm pitches; gull-wing or PC pin terminations; long or short pin variants.
- Electrical Ratings: 25 mA switching current (24 Vdc) and 100 mA non-switching current (50 Vdc).
- Operating Range: Temperature tolerance spanning -40°C to 85°C.
