When electronica 2026 kicks off in Munich this November, test and measurement powerhouse Rohde & Schwarz is bringing everything from essential lab gear to boundary-pushing RF and quantum research tools. Running from November 10 to 13 at booth A4.307, the company’s showcase is built around a simple theme – “From the everyday to the extraordinary.” It is a massive lineup designed specifically for developers, electronics engineers, and validation specialists looking to solve real-world testing bottlenecks.

Tackling the Everyday and the Extraordinary
On the practical side, the company is rolling out a new handheld combi analyzer built for field work. It packs spectrum analysis, real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA), vector network analysis (VNA), and a power meter into a single portable unit.
They are also debuting the R&S HMP5050, adding a versatile five-channel DC power supply to their benchtop family.
For truly demanding applications, the spotlight is on the FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer. Engineered to break the limits of traditional measurement, it brings multi-channel capabilities, extreme sensitivity, and a massive dynamic range to the table.
Aerospace and Satellite Innovation
For aerospace engineers, the booth will feature a dynamic testbed for low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite links and phased array beam steering, complete with a robotic arm to emulate satellite movement.
Attendees will also get a close look at 5G non-terrestrial network (NR-NTN) testing powered by the CMX500 one-box signaling tester, alongside micro-Doppler simulation for 6G ISAC drone detection using the AREG800A automotive radar echo generator.
Electronics and Power Validation
The power electronics setups are built to support the entire engineering lifecycle, from early design right through to final validation. Highlights include electric drivetrain efficiency testing via the LMG600 Series power analyzer from ZES Zimmer, 3-phase power analysis on MXO oscilloscopes, and transient measurements on wide-bandgap devices using the MXO 5 paired with the R&S RT-ZISO isolated probing system.
The demonstration will also feature the ScopeSync App, which synchronizes multiple oscilloscopes to handle up to 24 channels, and MXO AI Connect—a tool that lets compatible AI agents control the oscilloscope and assist with workflows using natural language.
For validation tasks, expect high-speed digital interface testing up to 54 GHz with the R&S ZNB3000, plus deep dives into signal and power integrity for SerDes applications using the R&S RTP oscilloscope and SEPIA by Picotest.
RF, Microwave, and EMC Compliance
RF professionals will want to check out phase noise measurements up to 170 GHz using the R&S FSWP analyzer. The setup also includes two-port amplifier testing with wideband modulated signals on the FSWX, and high-power Ka-band amplifier characterization using the R&S ZNA vector network analyzer paired with the new R&S SAM200 system amplifier.
When it comes to EMC testing, the focus is entirely on speed and automation. The booth will feature ultrafast compliance testing driven by the R&S ESW EMI test receiver and R&S ELEKTRA software.
The highly upgradeable R&S EPL1007 will also be on hand, alongside customized RF and EMC systems built for complex environments.
Quantum Computing and Manufacturing Services
Rounding out the showcase, Zurich Instruments is set to demonstrate scalable quantum computing control systems capable of handling anywhere from a single qubit up to a 1,000-qubit setup (SHFQC and ZQCS), along with arbitrary waveform generation and precise sensor characterization.
Finally, on the manufacturing front, Rohde & Schwarz is tackling end-of-line testing for power electronics modules in line with AQG 324 standards, alongside testing for telematics and wireless battery management systems using the R&S ExpressTSVP and CMP180.
The company will also highlight its own end-to-end electronic manufacturing (EMS) and comprehensive calibration and depot services.
Rohde & Schwarz will be at electronica 2026 in Hall A4, Booth 307, from November 10 to 13, 2026.
