Pulsiv has appointed Tim Joyce as Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors, as the power electronics company moves into its next phase of commercial growth.
Joyce succeeds Darrel Kingham, who has stepped down as CEO to pursue new opportunities.
The leadership change comes at an important stage for Pulsiv, which is moving beyond core technology development and into full commercial expansion. The company is now focused on increasing product deployments and securing its first commercial revenues across global markets.
Joyce joined Pulsiv six months ago as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the company, he built his career in investment banking, where he specialised in derivatives and developed experience in building and scaling high-performing teams. He has also worked as an angel investor and adviser to early-stage businesses.
His connection with Pulsiv predates his executive role. Joyce had invested in the company twice before joining, reflecting his longstanding confidence in its technology and commercial prospects.
Since taking on the CFO position, Joyce has played a key role in shaping Pulsiv’s strategy. The company’s Board said his combination of financial discipline, entrepreneurial experience and strong belief in Pulsiv’s technology positions him well to lead the business through its next stage of growth.
Under Joyce’s leadership, Pulsiv will continue developing its product roadmap while expanding the reach of its technology into markets worldwide. The company is also continuing to build on its growing patent portfolio.
Pulsiv’s technology is focused on high-efficiency AC-DC power conversion, with the aim of improving energy efficiency, reducing power losses and enabling smaller power electronics designs. As the company moves toward wider commercial deployment, these capabilities are expected to remain central to its growth strategy.
