Jubilant Ingrevia is stepping into electronics design and manufacturing with a 40 percent stake in Zettaone Technologies India for Rs 189.2 crore, a move that slots the specialty chemicals major alongside its existing semiconductor chemicals business as it builds an integrated play across the electronics and semiconductor value chain.

The cash-funded deal will close in two tranches, with the first expected by November 2026 and the second by September 2027.
Zettaone, founded around two decades ago by Harikrishnan, Sureshkumar, Prabu and Arunkumar, offers R&D, design, prototyping, manufacturing, assembly and box build for aerospace, defence, semiconductors, automotive, medical devices and industrial equipment. Its revenue has nearly doubled from Rs 51.1 crore in FY24 to Rs 98.1 crore in FY26.
Jubilant Ingrevia said the acquisition fits its ‘Pinnacle’ growth strategy, which targets an integrated presence in electronics and semiconductors. Company leaders described the move as a platform in Electronics Development and Manufacturing Services that reinforces its high-precision semiconductor chemicals CDMO work.
Jubilant has operated in chemicals for over 45 years and counts itself among the top global players in pyridine and picolines, pyridine derivatives, acetic anhydride and Vitamin B3.
It runs more than 50 plants across six Indian manufacturing facilities, employs over 2,300 people and operates three R&D centres with around 150 scientists, serving pharma, nutrition, agrochemical, consumer and industrial customers across the US, Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and India.
Zettaone describes itself as a privately held deep-tech company offering end-to-end product development, from concept and architecture to hardware, embedded software design and lifecycle support.
