DigiKey is heading to Pasadena this November as a core sponsor for the 2026 Hackaday Supercon. Running from November 6 to 8 at Supplyframe’s DesignLab, the event is marking its tenth year as a premier gathering for hardware hackers, embedded developers, and open-source tech enthusiasts.
The distributor is bringing more than just a logo to the show floor. DigiKey engineers will be on site all weekend, actively helping attendees spec parts for live hacking challenges and troubleshooting technical bottlenecks on the fly.
They are also supplying a dedicated cache of components for this year’s highly anticipated conference badge, which remains under wraps until the event kicks off.
On the educational front, the company is teaming up with industry creators to run a series of hands-on hardware and technology workshops. A major draw on the schedule is Shawn Hymel’s session on Reinforcement Learning for Robotics.
The workshop will walk developers through the exact steps needed to build a robust AI agent and seamlessly transfer a policy trained in a digital simulation directly to a physical robot.
