Solid Sands and BUGSENG, a specialist in automated software verification, have completed a software library qualification project for MDA Space, a mission partner to the global space industry.

The qualification work supports the development of MDA SKYMAKER™, an advanced robotic arm system. MDA Space’s team continues to progress toward the system’s final designs as planned.
The project brought together Solid Sands’ expertise in software library qualification and test-suite technology with BUGSENG’s capabilities in advanced static analysis and MISRA compliance.
Together, the companies delivered an integrated verification solution for MDA Space’s mission-critical software. The work included comprehensive testing, detailed qualification evidence, and traceability documentation to support the stringent software assurance requirements of space applications.
The project resulted in a qualified software library baseline, helping strengthen confidence in the software’s readiness for deployment in demanding space missions.
