SCHURTER completes Biaodi acquisition for Circuit Protection The Volt Post

Biaodi will now be a part of SCHURTER as the company announced to have completed the acquisition process. Biaodi is a China-based company known for developing high-voltage circuit protection solutions for electric vehicles and new energy applications.

The Biaodi acquisition is said to foster SCHURTER’s high-voltage portfolio with a broader range of products.

This includes fuses for EV onboard systems, pyrotechnic (pyro) fuses designed to safely disconnect electric vehicles when needed, and AC fuses used across charging stations, energy storage systems, data centers, wind power setups, and other high-current environments.
