DigiKey reports that preorders for the recently announced Arduino UNO Q can now be placed on the DigiKey website. For more efficient product development, the innovative new series of development boards combines a dedicated microcontroller with a powerful microprocessor with graphic acceleration.

The new UNO Q is the ideal platform for next innovation, regardless of whether you require a precise microcontroller, a powerful microprocessor, or both. It integrates a real-time MCU and a Linux Debian MPU in one unit. For high-level activities like managing multimedia, performing AI inference, and handling advanced connectivity, the MPU provides Linux-class computing.
For timing-critical operations like motor actuation, sensor polling, or low-latency signal processing, the MCU provides deterministic real-time control. Through Bridge, an RPC framework developed by Arduino, the dual-brain subsystems are seamlessly connected and able to communicate with one another.
The Arduino App Lab, an all-in-one development environment that combines Python scripts, containerized AI models, and Arduino sketches into fully integrated applications that can be controlled from a single interface, is preinstalled on the UNO Q.
The Arduino App Lab revolutionizes the way developers, educators, and innovators create apps for embedded systems, Linux, and edge AI by facilitating the smooth development and implementation of projects that blend real-time control with advanced processing.
