The first delivery of Yokogawa India Limited’s (YIL) next-generation AXG magnetic flowmeters in Maharashtra was a major milestone stated the company in its recent official release.

This landmark delivery, made possible by Adept Fluidyne Pvt. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Yokogawa, shows the company’s increased local presence and dedication to providing top-notch instrumentation solutions to serve India’s rapidly changing industrial landscape.
On July 11, 2025, Adept’s Pune factory had a special celebration to commemorate the milestone delivery of AXG magnetic flowmeters, which brought together top Yokogawa executives.
Those in attendance included Vinayak Gadre, CEO of Adept Fluidyne Pvt. Ltd., Hiroshi Nagai, President of Yokogawa Manufacturing Corporation, Hiroshi Tanoguchi, Senior Vice President & Executive Officer, CTO, and Head of Yokogawa Products Headquarters, and Katsuya Ikezawa, Director of Yokogawa India Limited.
Adept, which was founded in 1983 and is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Yokogawa, has more than thirty years of experience in flow technology.
Adept is at the forefront of measurement innovation, having provided over 70,000 magnetic and ultrasonic flowmeters to vital industries like water, wastewater, and industrial processes.
The company has added IOT gateways, smart water meters, and flowmeter calibration services to its list of products since launching ultrasonic flowmeters in 2010.
With exports to more than 25 countries and a strong pan-India sales network, Adept’s inclusion into Yokogawa’s ecosystem enhances the group’s capacity to provide more intelligent, scalable, and internationally reputable solutions.
