Created alongside TeleSemana.com, Latin America’s top telecommunications publication, the Index gives a clear, data-backed picture of how eSIM is actually working (or stumbling) around the world. It combines operator data, country-level factors, expert insight, and even a regulatory penalty system into one simple 0–100 score.

The United States takes the top spot with a 90.2 score, followed by Estonia and the UK.
On the other end, markets like Sudan, India, and Liberia show how structural barriers still hold adoption back. The Index makes it clear that regulatory intervention is a make-or-break factor. Some markets actively restrict international eSIM providers, which directly limits how scalable these services can be.
