Taiwan Expo USA 2026 will return to Dallas this September for its second consecutive year, highlighting the expanding economic, technology and business ties between Taiwan and the United States, particularly Texas.
The three-day event will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The Expo is free and open to the public, with registration now available for business professionals, B2B matchmaking participants and general attendees.
Under the theme “Ignite the Future,” this year’s Expo moves beyond simply connecting companies and institutions, with a stronger focus on turning those relationships into practical partnerships across AI, advanced manufacturing, smart energy, healthcare and mobility.
The event will bring together business leaders, government representatives, technology companies, economic development organisations and the wider community for exhibitions, industry discussions, networking opportunities and cultural programmes.
Eight innovation zones to showcase Taiwan’s technology ecosystem
A major feature of Taiwan Expo USA 2026 will be its expanded exhibition floor, which will feature eight innovation zones covering technologies and industries central to the Taiwan-U.S. relationship.
Three new zones have been added this year, Urban Resilience, Smart Energy and Future Mobility. They join AI Manufacturing, Intelligent Automation, Smart Healthcare, Taiwan Pulse and Taiwan Excellence.
The AI Manufacturing and Intelligent Automation zones will focus on AI-enabled manufacturing and the technologies supporting the sector, including computing infrastructure, edge intelligence, cybersecurity and robotics.
Meanwhile, Urban Resilience and Smart Energy will highlight technologies for connected and resilient cities, including security, connectivity, energy generation, storage and efficiency solutions.
The Smart Healthcare and Future Mobility zones will showcase applications designed to bring AI and advanced technologies closer to everyday life, covering areas such as AI-assisted diagnosis, remote healthcare, sensing, safety and smart mobility.
Visitors can also explore Taiwan Pulse, which will feature Taiwanese food, travel, financial services and lifestyle experiences, while the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will present award-winning Taiwanese innovations.
Taiwan-U.S. Industry Collaboration Forum to focus on AI-ready supply chains
The 2026 Taiwan-U.S. Industry Collaboration Forum: “Leading an Intelligent Future” will take place on September 24 from 1:30 to 4:00 PM on the Main Stage.
The forum will bring together government officials, business executives and economic development organisations to discuss how Taiwan and the U.S. can strengthen supply chains and build a more resilient, AI-ready industrial ecosystem.
Discussions will examine the impact of AI on manufacturing and technology investment, opportunities for deeper cross-border collaboration and ways companies can turn technology partnerships into new investments and real-world deployments.
The forum will also explore the role of state and regional partnerships in creating tangible economic opportunities between Taiwan and the United States.
Healthcare forum to explore AI-powered precision medicine
Healthcare will also feature prominently at this year’s Expo.
The Taiwan Healthcare Forum: “Precision Medicine & Healthy Living” is scheduled for September 25 from 3:05 to 4:00 PM on the Main Stage.
The session will examine how Taiwan is using AI-assisted diagnosis, smart sensing and digital healthcare platforms to support more precise clinical decision-making, real-time monitoring and proactive health management.
Attendees who stay through the full Taiwan-U.S. Industry Collaboration Forum or Taiwan Healthcare Forum will also be eligible for a special treat, while supplies last, and a chance to win a Premium Economy round-trip flight ticket between Taiwan and the U.S.
Taiwan’s growing economic footprint in Texas
The Expo comes as economic ties between Taiwan and the U.S. continue to expand.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Taiwan became the United States’ fourth-largest trading partner in 2025, with bilateral trade increasing 61.27% year over year.
Texas has also emerged as an important destination for Taiwanese investment. Taiwanese companies have committed more than $10 billion in investments in the state, with companies including GlobalWafers, Foxconn (Hon Hai), Wistron, Inventec, Quanta, Wiwynn, Compal, UMC and Win Semiconductors expanding their presence.
Against this backdrop, the Dallas Expo provides a platform for companies and institutions from both markets to explore partnerships across technology, manufacturing, investment and supply chains.
Mid-Autumn Festival adds a cultural element
This year’s Expo will also coincide with the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of Taiwan’s major cultural traditions.
The public programme will include an interactive scavenger hunt across participating pavilions. Visitors can collect stamps and redeem completed cards for limited-edition Expo merchandise, while supplies last.
The combination of business networking, technology showcases and cultural experiences is intended to make the event accessible to both industry visitors and the wider public.
B2B matchmaking registration open until September 9
U.S. buyers can register for the Expo’s 1-on-1 Business Matchmaking programme, which will connect them with more than 100 export-ready Taiwanese suppliers.
The registration deadline for the matchmaking programme is September 9, 2026.
Business and B2B Matchmaking attendees who pre-register will also receive lucky draw tickets. Participants in the B2B programme will be eligible for additional benefits, including a Buyer’s Gift Bag, special treats while supplies last and further opportunities to earn lucky draw tickets based on completed meetings.
