Demand for higher power density in data centers and industrial environments continues to rise and SCHURTER is answering that need with its new 4770 dual block outlet. Designed for a rated current of 16 A, the 4770 is optimized for installation in power distribution units (PDUs), combining a rugged, compact design with easy, space-saving integration.

Thanks to its dual block configuration, the outlet fits neatly into PDUs, helping system designers maximize power in limited space.
The familiar snap-in mounting system makes installation quick, secure, and straightforward, cutting assembly time and reducing overall installation effort.Â
Versatile and Reliable
The 4770 dual block outlet is available in black, gray, or white, giving design teams more flexibility to match different panel and system aesthetics.
It supports a range of connection options like standard QC 6.3 mm and QC 4.8 mm quick?connects, solder terminals, and PCB-mount variants are available on request, making it easy to adapt to various wiring concepts and topologies.
With VDE, UL, and CCC certifications, the outlet meets key international standards for safety, reliability, and global deployment.Â
Technical highlights
The 4770 is rated for up to 16 A at 250 VAC according to IEC, and 20 A at 250 VAC under UL.
It operates reliably over a wide temperature range from –25 °C to +70 °C, making it suitable for demanding environments.
Mounting is via snap-in design, typically for wall thicknesses of 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm, with support for 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm on request.Â
Typical applications
The 4770 dual outlet is ideal for data centers, industrial plants, IoT infrastructures, IT equipment, and telecommunication systems in other words, any application where compact, high-density, and reliable power distribution is essential.
