LITEON Takes 25% Stake in DCX Liquid Cooling for $176M

THE VOLT VOTES

Taiwan’s LITEON Technology has made a strategic investment in Warsaw-based DCX POLSKA Sp. z o.o. (“DCX Liquid Cooling Systems”), securing roughly a 25% equity stake for about US$176 million as the AI boom pushes data-center rack densities into liquid-cooling territory.

Deal details and strategic fit

Once the transaction closes, LITEON will own approximately a quarter of DCX, valuing the Polish company at more than PLN 2.6 billion (around €603 million).

The move pairs DCX’s liquid-cooling portfolio, coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility coolant distribution units (FDUs), cold plates, rack manifolds and immersion systems. with LITEON’s strengths in AI server power management, rack-level power delivery and 800VDC architectures.xyz+3

The stated goal is to ship tightly integrated power-and-thermal platforms for hyperscale and high-density AI infrastructure, where rising rack power levels are making liquid cooling a must-have rather than a nice-to-have.finance.

What DCX brings to the table

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Warsaw, DCX has built a reputation in direct-to-chip and immersion cooling for AI and HPC data centers.

Its product range spans enterprise-class CDUs (600kW–2.6MW) up to hyperscale FDUs rated to 16MW, plus cold plates, manifolds and modular data-center systems.

Recent highlights include a contract to supply 10MW CDUs for a top-3 U.S. AI company and the deployment of a complete 30MW liquid-cooling system for an AI-ready data center in South America.

In 2025, DCX reported delivering and booking over 500MW of cooling capacity while expanding its workforce by more than 100 people.

How the partnership will work

LITEON and DCX say they will deepen collaboration across product development, engineering, manufacturing scale-up and global go-to-market efforts. Part of the new capital is earmarked for capacity expansion, DCX plans to build two production plants in Poland and a technology center in the United States.

For LITEON, which already offers AI power management, high-efficiency battery backup units, racks, mechanical components and its own liquid-cooling systems, the investment strengthens its position across the AI data-center value chain.

By combining DCX’s cooling know-how with LITEON’s power architectures, the two companies aim to deliver end-to-end solutions tailored to hyperscale customers chasing higher performance and efficiency.LITEON Takes 25% Stake in DCX Liquid Cooling for $176M The Volt Post
