Delvitech announced the establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology facility in Bengaluru with an initial investment of USD 10 Mn and an overall investment of USD 25-30 Mn.
Spread across 65,000 sq. ft., the facility is planned to become operational in Q1 CY 2027 and marks a significant milestone in Delvitech’s commitment to Make in India and its long-term growth in the country.
The expansion is expected to generate between 500 and 800 jobs over the next five years. Beyond expanding production capacity, the site is designed to merge Delvitech’s Swiss engineering heritage with local expertise, heavily emphasizing specialized manufacturing, engineering, and technical skills development.
By establishing a local footprint, Delvitech is positioning itself to better serve Indian OEMs and electronics manufacturing service (EMS) providers as they rapidly scale up automation and demand stricter traceability.
To that end, the Bengaluru facility will not just be a production hub; it will feature R&D capabilities for continuous localization and a dedicated demonstration center where customers can evaluate the machines hands-on.
Inside the plant, Delvitech will integrate its mechanical, electrical, optical, and software systems. To maintain its strict quality standards, critical components will undergo rigorous in-house testing using advanced metrology and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to ensure complete accuracy and compliance.
The company reinforced this localized push during productronica India 2026 in Bengaluru, where it showcased its latest inspection portfolio, including the Horus, Aton, and Horus Dual Lane systems.
Through these platforms, Delvitech demonstrated how deploying physical AI can transform routine quality inspection from an operational necessity into a competitive advantage that drives cost, time, and sustainability efficiencies.
