With this calculated investment, PG Technoplast hopes to increase its market share in the quickly expanding air conditioning industry while also satisfying India’s rising need for sustainable and energy-efficient cooling solutions.

The modern facility was formally launched by Pradeep Jain (Managing Director, Jaina India), NS Satish (President, Haier India), and Kamal Nandi (Business Head and Executive Vice President, Godrej Appliances), who graced the occasion.

With an amazing 200,000 square feet, the brand-new plant of flagship air conditioning manufacturing plant produces a wide range of split air conditioners, from 0.75T to 2.0T, with installed annual capacity of 360k AC indoor units, 360k AC outdoor units, and 250k window air conditioners.

The new air conditioning manufacturing plant production capabilities include the ability to make copper tubing systems, heat exchangers, cover sheet metal components, AC units, and powder coating plants. Over 1,000 individuals will gain extra work as a result of this unit.

Sustainability at Forefront of the New Air Conditioning Manufacturing Plant

Sustainability is a key component in the design of the air conditioning manufacturing facility. It has a cutting-edge learning center with the purpose of educating trainees and apprentices to develop the next generation of manufacturing talent and give stakeholders in the firm ongoing on-the-job training.

In order to minimize the production of paper, plastic, and corrugated trash, it also has integrated facility management systems and water conservation features. 

In a noteworthy development this month, PG Technoplast was acknowledged for their incremental investment and sales performance in the fiscal years 2021–22 and 2022–23, and as a result, became the first beneficiary to receive incentives under the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for air conditioning (AC) components target segment.

After entering the market just three years ago in 2021, PG has already solidly established itself as the second-largest OEM for room air conditioners in the country.
