This year, on June 11–13 in Nuremberg, Germany, at PCIM Europe, ROHM will be showcasing its innovative power semiconductor solutions, with a particular emphasis on wide bandgap devices.
The SiC, Si, and GaN portfolio from ROHM is made to meet the demands of several industries, with a concentration on e-mobility and power supply applications.
In keeping with its slogan, “Empowering Growth, Inspiring Innovation,” ROHM to showcase how its technologies promote sustainability while addressing social and ecological issues.
SiC:
At PCIM Europe 2024, new SiC power modules for automotive applications will be premiered by ROHM.
Furthermore, ROHM will demonstrate how its manufacturing has been converted to 8-inch SiC wafers and offer an updated view on the evolution of its SiC products.
The 4th Generation SiC MOSFETs from ROHM provide industry-leading low ON resistance levels while reducing switching losses and accommodating gate-source voltages of 15 and 18 volts.
GaN:
The EcoGaN series of 150V and 650V class GaN HEMTs is available from ROHM in a number of evaluation kits. Higher integrated PFC and QR (Quasi-Resonant) flyback converters will be added to the power stage IC BM3GxxMUV-LB series, which already has integrated 650V GaN HEMTs and gate drivers.
For all electronics systems that need great power density and efficiency, these devices offer the best answer. More than ten boards from the EcoGaNTM family will be on display at ROHM, highlighting their contributions to industrial solutions.
The power specialists of ROHM will take part in a number of panel discussions and conference presentations during the exhibition. Furthermore, they plan to host poster sessions during PCIM Europe.
