Hardware maker Prittec is officially stepping into the spotlight with its own “Made in India” product line, tapping industry veteran Mr. Quraishi to spearhead its aggressive push into the country’s highly competitive tech market.

After operating behind the scenes in India for some time, Prittec is now launching its own branded, locally manufactured hardware. Under Quraishi’s leadership, the company is rolling out a massive expansion across institutional, retail, and commercial channels, with a specific focus on capturing Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
The company is betting heavily on a decisive shift in what local buyers expect from their devices. Targeting India’s young, tech-savvy demographic, Prittec is positioning its portfolio, which spans high-performance laptops, All-in-One (AIO) PCs, compact Mini PCs, commercial monitors, and enterprise desktops around AI-enabled computing and aggressive, value-for-money pricing.
To execute this ambitious roadmap, Prittec is leaning on Quraishi’s three decades of deep industry clout. A highly respected figure in the hardware space, he previously played a pivotal role in launching ASUS in India. His 30-year resume reads like a who’s who of global tech, featuring senior roles at Microsoft Saudi Arabia, AMD, and Acer, operational leadership across the Middle East, and nationwide distribution management for tier-one smartphone giants like Motorola and Lenovo.
Leadership Comments
Speaking about Prittec’s expanded play in the Indian market, Mr. Unaez Quraishi, Country Head said, “I am genuinely excited to bring this brand into India. Consumers here have grown considerably more technology-oriented, and the segment of educated, value-conscious buyers wanting high-end products keeps expanding. Given how strong our technology is and how cost-effective our offering is, this feels like precisely the right moment for a brand like Prittec to enter this market.”
He pointed to the current volatility in supply as an added opening. “The market right now is fairly unsettled, and the availability of the right products simply isn’t where it should be. What we’re bringing to the table, both in price and in quality, is something buyers haven’t really had access to before. It’s a level of value that others aren’t yet able to match.”
On the company’s ambitions in India, he added, “Our approach here is built for the long term, not a quick play. The products are made in India, and there is significant investment behind this. Our objective is simple: give consumers genuinely high-quality products at an affordable price, across a wide range.”
That confidence, he explained, stems from Prittec’s standing as a manufacturer in its own right. “We are direct manufacturers, with a substantial facility of our own, and that gives us a depth of product and technology knowledge we can now bring to this market.”
He noted that Prittec already has its own service infrastructure in place. “We’re glad to already have our service centre set up in Pan India. We’ve introduced three to four models to start with more to follow.”
Prittec‘s entry into India rests on a fairly simple proposition, manufacturing depth translated into pricing that consumers can genuinely afford, backed by a Made in India approach to production.
With its early models already reaching retail shelves, and Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets next in line, the brand has laid a clear foundation for the months ahead. The intent is evident, and India’s technology consumers now have a compelling new option to consider.
