EcoG, the company behind the operating system for EV charging, is pleased to announce that Tomi Ristimäki (former CEO of Kempower) and Tanvi Chaturvedi (former CRO of EVgo) have joined its advisory board.

These two seasoned industry leaders bring deep experience scaling charging companies in Europe (Kempower) and North America (EVgo), marking a major step forward in EcoG’s mission to support the global shift toward sustainable charging infrastructure.
With Tomi and Tanvi’s addition, EcoG’s advisory board is now complete alongside existing members Carlota Ochoa Neven Du Mont (Extantia Capital), Andreas Heubl (BayBG), and Florian Löbermann (GETFund).
EcoG is scaling its operations and expanding its global footprint in sustainable transportation, with a particular focus on Europe, North America, and India. The company is pushing forward innovations like Powerblock and Dispenser reference designs and is entering the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) market with several OEMs.
At the same time, EcoG is professionalizing its workflows to speed up the deployment of EV charging infrastructure. The guidance from its new advisors will help ensure EcoG remains a trusted partner for manufacturers navigating the complexities of the EV infrastructure market.
New Advisors Bring Deep Industry Experience
Tomi Ristimäki and Tanvi Chaturvedi bring experience that complements EcoG’s strong technical foundation:
Tomi Ristimäki – As former CEO of Kempower, Tomi knows what it takes to build reliable charging solutions at scale. He led Kempower’s growth from 10 to 900 employees in the EU and guided the company through a multi-million-dollar IPO. His experience will be invaluable as EcoG scales.
“Having observed the rapid global growth of charging infrastructure, I’ve seen that reliability remains a key hurdle. EcoG addresses this by standardizing the most complex aspects of charger design. Their operating system enables even new market entrants to achieve high operational reliability quickly and efficiently. I’m thrilled to support this innovative team in maturing the business and ensuring that ‘Powered by EcoG’ becomes a trusted sign of quality worldwide.”
Tanvi Chaturvedi – As former Chief Revenue Officer of EVgo and former Head of Growth at Google, Tanvi brings an invaluable perspective on EV charging and digital platform dynamics. Her insights will help EcoG refine its North American market strategy while supporting its growing global user base.
“Having scaled EV charging infrastructure, I’ve seen how critical reliability and an intelligent software platform are to success. EcoG is building this foundation at scale, creating a category-defining opportunity to shape the future of EV charging globally.”
Existing Board Members on EcoG’s Growth
Carlota Ochoa Neven Du Mont (Extantia Capital) – Focuses on deep decarbonization and sustainability, ensuring EcoG’s growth aligns with long-term climate impact goals.
“We look for solutions that are faster, better, and cheaper, driving mass adoption of clean technology with compelling economics. When we met Joerg and Johannes from EcoG, we immediately recognised that they have built the core piece of this puzzle for mobility: an operating system that lays the foundation for the next generation of reliable, smart, and scalable EV infrastructure.”
Andreas Heubl (BayBG) – Connects EcoG to a vast network of medium-sized industrial leaders and provides insights into the regional manufacturing strengths that underpin European innovation.
“Within a few years, EcoG has become the leading operating system for DC charging stations, providing charging station manufacturers with a robust software technology solution. EcoG’s customer base, ecosystem, and growth underline its market relevance. I am therefore pleased to support EcoG as an Advisory Board member in its international expansion.”
Florian Löbermann (GETFund) – Brings deep experience in cleantech venture capital and chemistry, bridging the gap between scientific innovation and scalable business models.
“I joined EcoG’s Advisory Board on behalf of GET Fund, driven by our conviction that reliable, interoperable EV charging will be a defining factor for mass adoption—and that EcoG is building the software layer to make this happen at scale.”
CEO’s Perspective
Joerg Heuer, CEO of EcoG, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to have Tomi and Tanvi join us as industry experts. We recognize that scaling a business in this dynamic industry—alongside market-driving technology and a passionate team—means we can move faster and more efficiently with the wisdom of those who have navigated these paths before. Their mentorship will be vital as we work to further optimize and scale our offerings and provide even more sustainable value to our customers.”
