The TCS43 is a compact SMT tactile switch built for applications where space, reliability, and responsive feedback all matter. With a tiny footprint of just 4.2 × 3.2 mm and a low profile of 2.5 mm, it fits easily into dense PCB layouts without sacrificing usability.

To help designers fine-tune the user experience, the switch comes in three actuation force options, 180 gf, 250 gf, and 400 gf (1.76 N to 3.92 N).
Whether you need a light touch or a more deliberate press, there’s flexibility to match different product requirements. It’s also designed for durability, offering a mechanical life of up to 100,000 cycles, making it suitable for long-term use in demanding environments.
On the electrical side, the TCS43 supports low-power operation ranging from 10 µA to 50 mA at 1–12 VDC. With contact resistance kept at or below 100 m?, it ensures stable and consistent signal performance.
It also handles a wide operating temperature range from -40 °C to +90 °C, making it reliable across both consumer and medical applications.
Overall, the TCS43 strikes a solid balance between compact design, dependable performance, and customizable tactile response making it a strong fit for modern interface designs.
The TCS43 combines compact design, robust performance, and flexible actuation characteristics making it an ideal choice for next-generation interface solutions.
Applications
The TCS43 is well-suited for user interface functions like on/off controls, menu navigation, and parameter selection. You’ll find it in high-end consumer electronics, home automation systems, IoT devices, and medical equipment such as blood pressure monitors and ventilators.
