Same Sky’s Interconnect Group has expanded its line of USB Type-C connectors, introducing a new series of IP-rated models built for rugged environments. The updated UJ family now includes waterproof USB receptacles with protection ratings ranging from IPX5 to IP68, ensuring reliable performance even in conditions exposed to moisture, dust, or other environmental contaminants.
All models are reflow solder compatible and feature UV-glued O-rings that can withstand reflow soldering temperatures making them easier to assemble and integrate.

- UJ20-C-V-G-SMT-P16-TR-66

These USB Type-C connectors support standards from USB 2.0 through USB 4.0 Gen 3×2, offering data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps and power delivery up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A). For cost-sensitive designs, Same Sky also provides power-only models that omit data pins, ideal when charging or power delivery is the sole requirement.

- Mounting options: hybrid, mid-mount SMT, mid-mount hybrid, or surface mount (with/without anchor pins)
