SCHURTER Launches 4792 Outlet Type J for Compact PDUs

When space is compact and wiring has to be as clean and efficient as possible, every little detail matters. The new SCHURTER 4792 outlet type J is designed exactly for that, it features horizontally aligned connections rotated 90° compared with standard designs, which makes wiring inside power distribution units (PDUs) much easier and more compact.

The 4792 combines a space-saving layout with straightforward installation. Its snap-in mounting system works with panel thicknesses from 0.8 to 3.0 mm (standard versions at 1.2 and 1.5 mm, with other variants available on request), allowing fast and secure mounting without extra fuss.

Design?wise, the 4792 is flexible and robust. It’s available in black, white, or gray, giving more freedom to match different enclosures and applications.

You can choose from several connection options standard quick-connect 6.3 mm, QC 4.8 mm, or solder and PCB terminals on request so there’s a wiring solution to fit most setups. Certified to VDE, UL, and CCC standards, this 16 A outlet ensures global compliance and electrical safety.
