The company will highlight a wide range of advanced test solutions designed to help engineers boost energy efficiency, accelerate EMC compliance, speed up digital debugging, and meet regulatory standards for wireless interfaces.

Rohde & Schwarz is set to showcase its latest innovations for the embedded industry at embedded world 2026, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany.
From March 10 to 12, 2026, visitors can meet the test and measurement expert at booth 4-218 in hall 4 of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
The company will highlight a wide range of advanced test solutions designed to help engineers boost energy efficiency, accelerate EMC compliance, speed up digital debugging, and meet regulatory standards for wireless interfaces.
Next-generation oscilloscopes
Rohde & Schwarz will present its expanding lineup of next-generation oscilloscopes from the MXO 3 to the MXO 5 – all powered by the in-house MXO-EP ASIC technology first introduced with the MXO 4 in 2022.
The new MXO 3 packs up to eight channels into a compact design and delivers performance that rivals higher-end models, with a real-time capture rate of up to 99% and hardware-accelerated math, spectrum, and zone trigger functions.
Reliability in power electronics
Equipped with high-voltage, current, and optically isolated probes such as the R&S RT-ZISO, the eight-channel versions of the MXO 3 and MXO 5 extend naturally into power electronics testing.
Their 18-bit HD mode and deep memory up to 500 Mpts allow precise observation of multi-channel power sequencing, long-duration recordings, and detailed analysis of small signal events in systems like inverters and motor drives.
Their built-in spectrum analysis also makes them ideal for spotting EMI issues and noise sources quickly.
EMI testing for embedded systems
As today’s embedded designs grow more compact, electromagnetic interference (EMI) becomes a key concern.
Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate how integrating EMI testing early in the design phase can save time and prevent costly redesigns later.
The R&S EPL1007 EMI test receiver handles pre-compliance and compliance measurements up to 7.125 GHz, offering expandability from basic setups to a full CISPR 16-1-1-compliant receiver perfect for both developers and test houses.
Verifying signal integrity
Every trace and connector on a PCB can impact signal integrity. To address this, Rohde & Schwarz will feature the R&S ZNB3000 vector network analyzer, covering frequencies up to 40 GHz.
Part of a new midrange family offering models up to 54 GHz, the ZNB3000 sets a benchmark in measurement speed, precision, and flexibility.
Its advanced de-embedding tools simplify fixture characterization and S-parameter extraction, while simulated eye diagrams give users clear visibility into signal quality.
Testing high-speed interfaces
As data rates climb, verifying high-speed digital interfaces is more critical than ever. Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate robust tools for system verification, debugging, and compliance testing across bus types.
One setup will highlight 1GBASE-T Ethernet compliance using the R&S RTO6 oscilloscope, ensuring 1 GbE physical layers meet IEEE 802.3 requirements. Another demo will showcase the R&S RTP164B oscilloscope in action on standards such as DDR5 and USB3.2.
The same instrument will also power demonstrations of automotive interface testing supporting standards like Automotive Ethernet, OpenGMSL™, and ASA (Automotive SerDes Alliance). Engineers can explore automated compliance testing, signal integrity debugging, and 10Base-T1S protocol decoding for reliable in-vehicle connectivity.
Battery life testing
For battery-powered devices, every milliwatt counts. In live demos, Rohde & Schwarz will use the R&S NGU source measure unit to emulate a battery and show how different device functions impact power consumption in real time.
The R&S NGM202 will be used to charge and discharge cells, helping engineers model and analyze battery behavior with precision.
Wireless connectivity testing
Wireless functions are now embedded into nearly every device, bringing both opportunities and testing challenges. The R&S CMP180 radio communication tester combining two analyzers, two generators, and extensive RF ports in a single unit supports a broad range of cellular and non-cellular standards from R&D to mass production.
At the show, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate Bluetooth® LE and Wi-Fi 8 testing.
The CMP180 already supports new Bluetooth LE Channel Sounding and High Data Throughput (HDT) features, key to the next generation of low-energy wireless communication. For Wi-Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn), the tester offers advanced, non-signaling verification helping engineers navigate the complexities of high-density, high-reliability wireless environments like XR and industrial IoT.
Optimizing production efficiency
Finally, the company will demonstrate how its tailored T&M solutions enhance production lines.
A rack-mounted setup featuring the compact MXO 5C oscilloscopes and PVT360A performance vector tester will illustrate how Rohde & Schwarz helps manufacturers streamline validation, improve reliability, and maximize throughput across component, module, and system-level testing.
These and other test solutions for the embedded industry can be found at the Rohde & Schwarz booth 4-218 in hall 4 at the embedded world Exhibition & Conference from March 10 to 12, 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany.
