The increasing AI and high-performance computing workloads demand power solutions that combine efficiency, reliability and scalability. Integrated power modules help streamline design, reduce energy use and deliver the stable performance required for advanced data centers.

The MCPF1525 Power Module, when paired with programmable PMBus and I2C controllers, is said to allow higher power delivery in the same rack space. The latest generation of PCIe switches and high-performance compute MPU applications needed for AI deployments are intended to be powered by this device.

When compared to other solutions, the MCPF1525 Power Module can reduce board area by up to 40% thanks to its unique vertical construction that maximizes board space efficiency. With its small size of roughly 6.8 mm x 7.65 mm x 3.82 mm, the power module is said to be best option for AI servers with limited space.

The MCPF1525 has several diagnostic functions reported over PMBus for enhanced reliability, such as over-temperature, over-current, and over-voltage protection to minimize undetected faults.

The device is designed to operate in an operational junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with a thermally enhanced packaging. The default power-up configuration can be programmed by users using an on-board embedded EEPROM.

The MCPF1525 features a customized integrated inductor for low conducted and radiated noise, enhancing signal integrity, data accuracy and reliability of high-speed computing, helping reduce repeated data transmissions that waste valuable system power and time
