The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partner for the project is Tata Projects Limited (TPL), the engineering and construction division of the Tata Group.

Honeywell and TPL will work together to provide an integrated solution that meets the needs of the SAF One project.

Developed in partnership with Eni S.p.A., Honeywell UOP’s Ecofining process technology provides an economical and capital-efficient way to convert waste fats, oils, and greases into sustainable diesel and SAF.

In SAF One’s plans to build many SAF production facilities worldwide, including one in India, this partnership represents an important turning point.

Used cooking oil (UCO) and other waste oils and fats will be transformed into SAF by SAF One using Honeywell UOP‘s Ecofining process technology, assisting the aviation sector in lowering lifecycle emissions and advancing its decarbonization objectives.

Honeywell and TPL are jointly optimizing the technology configuration to maximize capital expenditure, enhance project timelines, and deliver a solution aligned with SAF One’s global deployment strategy.
