Microchip Technology has announced the launch of its 600V Gate Driver portfolio, which includes 12 devices in half-bridge, high-side/low-side, and 3-phase driver configurations that meet the demanding needs of high-voltage power management applications.

These high-voltage gate drivers, which expand upon Microchip’s power management solutions, are intended to make it easier to develop motor control and power conversion systems for both consumer and industrial applications.
With current drive options ranging from 600 mA to 4.5A, the 600V Gate Driver portfolio allow for fast switching and efficient performance. For seamless microcontroller integration, they support 3.3V logic.
These gate drivers provide reliable performance in high-noise environments because to their improved noise immunity, Schmitt-triggered inputs, and internal deadtime to protect MOSFETs.
Microchip’s MCUs and MOSFETs can be combined with its motor control and power conversion technologies to develop a comprehensive system solution.
The electrification of industrial systems, the expansion of renewable energy, and the growing need for small, effective motor control solutions are all supported by these gate drives.
