The annual holiday competition, Hack the Holidays from element14 Community has begun, and participants are encouraged to design electronics projects that are inspired by the holidays and their personal significance. By submitting a write-up explaining how they developed their idea and showcasing how it works, participants can compete for prizes.

element14 Community is highlighting its carefully chosen winter wishlists for engineers and students this holiday season. Hands-on projects, kits, and resources to enhance learning and practical tasks are included in the STEM-inspired gift guide.

A musical, motion-activated wreath, an interactive mini Zen garden, and an electronic elf are among examples from the previous year’s competition.
