CADENAS Joins Eplan Partner Network to Enhance Data Portal

CADENAS is officially the newest member of the Eplan Partner Network after the contract was signed in person at the SPS in Nuremberg, Germany. On November 26, 2025, Terry Jonen, Managing Director of CADENAS, and Haluk Menderes, Managing Director of Eplan, signed the new technological collaboration agreement.

CADENAS Joins Eplan Partner Network for Data Portal
The deal was sealed at the SPS: Eplan Managing Director Haluk Menderes and CADENAS Managing Director Terry Jonen agreed to form a technology partnership.

The cooperation’s declared objective is to increase the availability of technical device data through the Eplan Data Portal. This will be accomplished by a direct interface between the Data Portal and the CADENAS platform 3Dfindit.

Focusing on added value for designers

For design engineers, comprehensive digital device data is essential. It greatly contributes to increased data consistency by speeding up project planning and improving engineering efficiency.

In order to accomplish this, companies will be developing an interface to the CADENAS portal that users may access directly through the Eplan cloud through the Eplan Data Portal.

The interface will be designed in close collaboration with Eplan and CADENAS, and both companies will keep in touch with component manufacturers.

The advantages for users at a glance:

• Eplan users benefit from a significantly expanded range of data on offer, for instance for complex designs
• Design engineers will have additional options when selecting device data
• Data consistency throughout the entire engineering process also increases

The technical implementation is under underway following the signing of the agreement. Both partners will form technical working groups in the upcoming months to specify the precise actions in order to progressively broaden the collaboration.

Validating added value for typical clients along the value chain is the aim. This covers a number of subjects and sectors, such as the energy industry. This will result in more consistent and deep data for Eplan consumers.

During the SPS, Eplan and CADENAS signed a groundbreaking technology partnership that will make it easier for Eplan users to find the right device data. “CADENAS is a strong partner who will help us considerably extend the range of device data available on the Eplan Data Portal with additional, validated content,” says Eplan Managing Director Haluk Menderes. “For our customers, this cooperation is significant. The connectivity to the CADENAS device database expands our quite comprehensive selection of device data with completely new, sometimes very complex configuration data – for instance for the energy sector.”

Speaking about the newly sealed deal, CADENAS Managing Director Terry Jonen says, “With the planned connection of 3Dfindit to the Eplan Data Portal, we’re making it easier for engineers to access precise, up-to-date product data and are thereby increasing the added value for our common customers.”
