This collaboration involves the adoption of Keysight’s Semiconductor Basic Design and Measurement Lab by USM, providing students with hands-on, industry-standard training in semiconductor technologies and real-world measurement techniques.

Strategic Education and Industry Alignment

The partnership is part of Malaysia’s Consortium E&E initiative, where USM plays a pivotal role in nurturing graduates aligned with industry needs.

Keysight’s lab platform includes advanced tools and workflows designed to bridge academic learning with industry practice, accelerating students’ readiness for engineering careers and supporting the country’s ambition to become a regional semiconductor hub.

  • USM is the first international university to join Keysight’s Semiconductor Student Certification Program, reinforcing its leadership in pioneering industry-aligned education.
