Anglia Components has signed a new franchise agreement with Taiwanese manufacturer OptoMedia, broadening its product offering with a range of fibre optic transceivers for industrial, defence and video applications.
OptoMedia specialises in high-performance optical communication solutions for demanding operating environments. Its products are designed to provide reliable and cost-effective fibre connectivity across industrial, video, defence and data infrastructure markets.
The expanded portfolio includes SFF, SFP and Mini-SFF transceivers, as well as SDI data modules, optical converters, HDMI products and KVM solutions.
OptoMedia’s solutions are already used in defence, industrial, professional broadcast and networking applications, where performance and reliability are essential.
The company is also a member of the Profibus & Profinet (PI) and CC-Link organisations. Through these memberships, OptoMedia works with other industry participants to support interoperability between its products and solutions from leading manufacturers worldwide.
The agreement will give Anglia customers access to OptoMedia’s optical communication products for applications requiring dependable fibre connectivity in challenging environments.
