Prominent business leaders Dr. Madan Pillutla and P. R. Ramesh were appointed as independent directors to Cyient’s board. With more than 40 years of expertise, Dr. Pillutla is currently the Dean and Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Indian School of Business.
Ramesh was once a member of the Deloitte Global Board and the previous Chairman of Deloitte India. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has been actively involved with a number of industry and regulatory organizations, such as the Government of India’s committees on accounting standards and corporate governance, SEBI, RBI, and IRDA.
Additionally, he has previously held the position of President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. At the moment, Mr. Ramesh is also a member of the boards of several prominent businesses, including ITC Hotels, Air India, Cipla, L&T, Nestlé India, and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals.
He spent 22 years in top positions at the London Business School, including Deputy Dean of Faculty and Member of the Governing Body.
Leading scholarly journals have featured his work, and he has been a member of editorial boards for publications like the Academy of Management Journal and the Administrative Science Quarterly. Additionally, he has created and overseen executive education courses on influence, leadership, and negotiation.
