The devices support high vibration applications and have very high performance capabilities. They are most adapted to high-temperature blind mating habitats. The contacts meet AS39029 criteria, while the connectors completely conform to the MIL-DTL-38999 standard.

Because the contacts are pre-assembled within the connectors, the Tri-Start MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors greatly simplify cable-to-board wiring, making them ideal for PCB applications. A seamless assembly procedure is ensured with optional alignment disks.

The Tri-Start MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors from Amphenol come in two varieties: “TV” metal versions made of aluminum, stainless steel, or marine bronze, and “CTV” composite versions that provide a lightweight, corrosion-resistant connector with the same high performance features as the metal counterpart.Amphenol Tri-Start MIL-DTL-38999 Series III at Powell the volt post
