The collaboration is aimed at giving developers and customers deeper visibility into advanced silicon throughout the product lifecycle, from initial development and production through deployment and in-field operation. The technology is being targeted at ASIC and LSI designs used in AI and other high-performance electronic systems.
At the center of proteanTecs and MegaChips collaboration are proteanTecs’ on-chip monitoring solutions and software applications, which are designed to turn silicon-level data into actionable insights. For MegaChips customers, this visibility could help accelerate chip bring-up, improve power and performance management, strengthen reliability and provide greater predictability once products are deployed in the field.
The companies will also integrate proteanTecs’ AVS Pro™ application, which enables dynamic power reduction based on workload conditions. The approach is designed to help systems adjust power consumption more intelligently while maintaining the performance required by demanding workloads.
proteanTecs and MegaChips partnership is particularly relevant for advanced ASIC and Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) designs, where increasing system complexity makes real-time visibility into silicon behavior increasingly important.
By combining embedded monitoring with MegaChips’ ASIC and LSI development capabilities, the companies aim to support better yield optimization and higher reliability across the product lifecycle.
