Nordic Semiconductor has announced the appointment of Jo Uthus as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Developer Experience. The newly created role underscores Nordic’s push to scale its developer ecosystem and drive growth across a broad range of markets.
Pushing a developer-first approach
Nordic has built one of the most robust developer ecosystems in the industry, powered by a highly active global community and its DevZone platform.
Jo Uthus brings more than 25 years of experience, including senior leadership roles at Atmel and Microchip both widely recognized for their developer-centric platforms. He joined Nordic on April 1, 2026.
His appointment supports Nordic’s ongoing shift from a pure wireless connectivity leader to a full-stack wireless-solutions provider, offering integrated ultra-low-power hardware, software, and cloud services in a single offering.
