Coimbatore’s tech and business scene lit up as the 8th edition of Elektrotec 2026 kicked off at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, running from August 21 to 24. Organised by the CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, the four-day show has drawn 400+ companies showcasing cutting-edge innovations across electrical and industrial electronics, renewable energy, power electronics and electric mobility.

Inauguration sets the tone
Industry leaders and professionals turned up for the inauguration, where chief guest Dr. G. A. Patanjali, Managing Director of High Energy Batteries (India) Ltd, urged the audience to embrace innovation while also prioritising good health to truly benefit from technological progress
