Easee Names Øyvind Osjord CEO Following Major Turnaround

THE VOLT VOTES

Øyvind Stavland Osjord has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Easee, taking over from Anthony Fernandez after a transformative period for the company. The two had worked closely as CEO and CFO to steer Easee through a major turnaround.

Osjord, who joined Easee as CFO in February 2025, played a key role in strengthening the company’s financial health and operations. Before that, he served as CFO at Goodtech ASA and held senior leadership roles at SAR and Roxel Group. Earlier in his career, he was part of the investment team at private equity firm HitecVision.

“Leading this talented team is a dream opportunity,” said Osjord. “Having been closely involved during such a critical phase, I step into this role with deep respect for what’s been achieved and strong confidence in what lies ahead.”

Easee’s Chair, Sigvart Voss Eriksen, welcomed the appointment, highlighting Osjord’s familiarity with the business and his leadership capabilities. “Øyvind understands the company, the organisation, and the market. He’s been part of the key decisions and has proven himself to be a thoughtful and capable leader. We’re confident he’s the right person to guide Easee into its next phase,” he said.

The leadership transition follows a remarkable turnaround for the company. When Fernandez took over as CEO in July 2024, Easee was reporting a loss of NOK 414 million. Since then, the company has returned to profitability, strengthened its position in the European market, and secured long-term ownership through Brødrene Jensen and AWC.

Reflecting on his tenure, Fernandez said, “When I joined Easee, the focus was on restoring stability, rebuilding trust, and laying the groundwork for growth. We’ve achieved that—and more. The company is back on track, and this feels like the right moment to hand over the reins.”

Fernandez, who brought Osjord into the company as CFO, will remain involved over the next two months to ensure a smooth transition and will continue in an advisory role.

Eriksen also acknowledged Fernandez’s contribution, noting that he took charge during a challenging time and successfully led the company back to profitability. “He leaves behind a business that is well-positioned for continued growth,” Eriksen said.

“We have a strong foundation, a clear direction, and significant opportunities ahead,” Osjord added. “Now it’s about building on that momentum together with our customers, partners, and the entire Easee team.”
